cANCA

cANCA, also referred to as cytoplasmic/classical antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, demonstrate a diffusely granular staining pattern in indirect immunofluorescence assays (IFA).

The target antigen is most commonly proteinase 3 (PR3). cANCA are associated with Wegener’s granulomatosis.
